Alice Sedah is currently the Technical Lead, DREAMS (World Vision Kenya), a project targeting Adolescent Girls and Young Women in Nairobi & Kiambu Counties with empowerment to address vulnerabilities that put them at risk of HIV infection.
She is a community development specialist with over 18 years’ experience in community mobilization, project design, coordination, implementation, capacity building and management as well as monitoring and evaluation. She has worked for various national and international not-for-profit organizations including Community Aid International (CAI), World Vision Kenya, PATH International and LVCT Health and has also had some stints in Individual consultancy (UNHCR, OXFAM (GB) UN World Food Programme (WFP), SCC Vi Agroforestry and Action Against Hunger. Part of her mandate and passion has been building community capacities on environmental conservation using green energy as well as proper waste management as well as establishing school-based agriculture and environmental conservation clubs.
She has international work experience gained in Somalia, Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan, South Sudan and Italy and is passionate, self-driven, and upholds transparency.
